The scionLAB is a cultural incubator created to support the Kansas City art, music & fashion scene. Opened in May of 2009, the scionLAB offers artists a free gallery space to showcase their work within a flexible 1000 square foot venue with many different configurations to suit each artists need. Located in the heart of the Crossroads Arts district in downtown Kansas City, the scionLAB can be found just behind Grinders at 18th & Oak. The venue includes furniture hand sculpted by Stretch, flat screen TVs & video games, a DJ booth & audio system, and much more.
